About the programme
We’re driven by science, creating and improving access to genuinely innovative medicines. It’s how our Research & Development (R&D) teams make a positive impact on patients’ lives, healthcare systems and societies.
Guided by our values and behaviours, every one of us is empowered and inspired to thrive, making a real difference to patients, society and our company.
We’re always pushing the boundaries of science, and so will you. By helping us search for solutions that prevent, treat and even cure some of the world’s most serious health challenges.
These include cancer, diabetes, and heart, kidney, and respiratory and immunological diseases. We’re focused on success, supplying medicines that can transform care, making sure they reach the patients who need them while bringing wider benefits to society and our planet.
How does the programme work?
On this 30-month apprenticeship, you’ll have a unique opportunity to learn and work in a global company alongside science’s brightest minds and our industry’s boldest disruptors.
You’ll be studying for a level 7 (Master’s degree) in Bioinformatic Science. We’ll fund your degree, and 20% of your time will be spent on your studies.
There are plenty of opportunities for future growth and experience beyond your Master’s. Many of our apprentices go on to enjoy full time positions both in their apprenticeship department and other business areas.
